Shipping

We ship Australia-wide with Australia Post. Orders are packed within two business days. Flat-rate shipping applies, and it’s free on orders over the threshold shown at the top of every page. We don’t ship seeds overseas: most countries require phytosanitary certificates and we’d rather not have your parcel binned at the border.

Refunds & germination

Seeds are a living product and germination depends on temperature, moisture and patience. If a pack fails to germinate after following the notes on the packet, get in touch within 60 days of purchase and we’ll replace it. If something arrives damaged or wrong, we’ll fix it, no questions.

Privacy

Wild West Chilli Co respects your privacy and handles your personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). This section explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.

What we collect and why

Personal information is anything that identifies you. What we collect is the minimum needed to send you seeds: your name, delivery address, email and, if you give it, a phone number. We use it to process and post your order, to reply when you contact us, and to sort out anything that goes wrong with a delivery. We collect it directly from you when you order or get in touch.

Marketing

We only add you to a mailing list if you choose to sign up, and every email we send has a one-click unsubscribe. We won’t sign you up just for placing an order.

Who we share it with

We don’t sell your information or hand it around. We share only what’s needed to get your parcel to you (for example, your name and address with Australia Post) or where the law requires it. Any payment is handled by our payment provider on their own secure systems; we don’t see or store your card details.

Keeping it safe

We store your information so it’s reasonably protected from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, and we hold onto it only as long as we need it or the law requires, after which we destroy or de-identify it.

Access, correction and complaints

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, or to correct it, by emailing us at wildwestproduce@gmail.com and we’ll help. If you think we’ve mishandled your information, tell us and we’ll work to put it right; you can also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au. This policy may change from time to time, and the current version always lives on this page.

Terms

Heat ratings and Scoville ranges are published from our own growing and from recognised references, but actual heat varies with plant, season and conditions. Superhot chillies can cause real harm: handle with gloves, keep away from children and pets, and don’t do anything on camera you’ll regret.
